More: How to Take a Pregnancy Selfie The mother of two shared with Ellen DeGeneres on Monday the details of her decision, which came after negative comments on a photo of her kids, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, after she had taken off her son’s swim diaper.  She commented to Ellen, “People went as far as saying someone should call child services because he didn’t have a diaper on and how dare I… some of the nastiest things. I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. It’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life. I just won’t share them anymore. I won’t do it. I’m not posting pictures of them anymore.” A post shared by P!NK (@pink) on Mar 31, 2019 at 2:06am PDT The photo in question, which now has comments disabled, shows Pink and her children interacting with a pelican on vacation. For the Grammy Award winner, she didn’t see the post in the same light as many commenters did, she shared with Ellen: “I looked at it like, there was a pelican that flew into our room. It spent two hours with us … it was this incredible experience for my family. And I have a two-year-old [who] doesn’t like to wear wet swim diapers and at some point, he took it off. I don’t think like that! We’re a family. We live on a farm. My kids are naked, it’s what happens!” A post shared by P!NK (@pink) on Mar 31, 2019 at 9:49am PDT This isn’t the first time she has received negative comments online, so it’s certainly understandable that she is not interested in seeing those about something so sensitive moving forward. It’s unclear at this point if her husband Carey Hart, who also frequently shares snaps of his kiddos to Instagram, will stop posting their photos as well. Ultimately, how much of your children you want to share publicly or privately online is up to you as the parent, though safety and protection are two major things to consider. But celebrities under the microscope of the public eye often seem as if they’re in a constant battle between not sharing enough personal details, and wanting to pull back the curtain because of criticism on their parenting choices.  For more guidance on how to protect your kids on social media, check out our top resources:
