Directions Cut the corks in half, creating a flat underside. Cut sails from the paper and use the toothpicks as masts. Make sure to have plenty of spare dry paper sails because if the sails are wet, the boat will tip over. Attach the sails by poking the toothpicks through the paper. Set the cork boats in water so that they sail upright. Propel the boats along by blowing through the straws. If using a large bowl of water, conduct races to see who can blow their boat from one side to the other.
